About
The person behind the perspective
Raj Johal
I am a writer, creator, and thinker exploring the spaces where ideas intersect. Through essays, videos, and conversations, my goal is to unpack the complexities of culture, philosophy, and modern life.
I've always been drawn to the spaces between disciplines — where philosophy meets storytelling, where culture intersects with personal experience, and where asking the right question matters more than having the right answer. Nazariya is the home for all of that.
When I'm not creating, you'll find me lost in a book, deep in conversation, or chasing an idea that refuses to leave me alone. If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
What is Nazariya?
Nazariya (नज़रिया) is a Hindi-Urdu word that means "perspective" or "point of view." It's the lens through which we interpret the world — shaped by our experiences, curiosities, and the questions we dare to ask.
This space is built on the belief that there is never just one way to see things. Every story has layers, every idea has depth, and every conversation is an opportunity to shift how we understand ourselves and each other. Nazariya is an invitation to look closer, think deeper, and embrace the beauty of seeing the world through multiple lenses.
